WORK-IN-PROGRESS

My memoir-in-progress is a nostalgic coming-of-age story that takes readers back to the 1970s, when I was a teenage girl with an unlikely dream: to be a drummer in a rock-n-roll band. Part love letter to my hometown of Far Rockaway, NY, it’s a universal tale of following your heart, which always leads home. An excerpt was a Shortlisted Finalist in the CRAFT Magazine 2023 Scene Setting Challenge.
